Rules you get fit by

I have a few rules that I created for myself regarding my diet and exercise. They are:

1. Stairs: The stairs must be jogged. If I run out of juice, I may not walk the next flight, I must go down the stairs a flight at a time until I am ready to jog back up without a rest.
2. Climbing: I will climb no fewer than 15 routes every time I go to the rock gym. I will not leave until I have climbed 15 climbs.
3. Calories: Calories are totalled weekly. If I am over or under, too bad (or too good if I'm under!), I don't get to make it up or eat more after the end of the week.
4. Alcohol: I will not drink after I climb or work out until I am maintaining at my goal body fat percentage and weight. Talk about an incentive to get there!!

I'm curious, what are your self-imposed rules? I'm not talking about the rules your doctor or trainer or nutritionist or next door neighbor's great aunt gave you. I'm talking about the ones you created yourself, by yourself. And - here's the kicker - do you keep them?
