Ok so maybe a stupid question, I have been laid up since the weekend, eating next to nothing, because everything I tried to eat came right back up again. In addition I spent the majority of my time sleeping and exhausted.
How is the best way to add calories back in so as not to have my body overcompensate and end up gaining excessively over the next week?
Last night was the first I felt like actually trying to eat and I probably ate less than 200 cals worth. This is the first time I have had enough energy to type on the computer and I'm already feeling like I've maxed myself out.
I thank you all in advance for your suggestions and assistance.

You won't gain. You have to consistently eat low cal for your body to start holding on to every calorie. Your body was sick. Do not try and force feed yourself. Just start eating back to normal as soon as your body tells you it's ready. Hope you feel better soon!0

I'm kinda in the same boat right now... I've been doing alright with chicken noodle soup and toast. Just ease yourself back to your former plan.0
