So when I put my cardio into my exercise diary it shows me calories burned, but when I put in strength training it does. Why?

If you go to cardio instead of strength training and look up "strength training" it will assign a calorie burn number based on the number of minutes exercise. I'm not at all sure that it is accurate but it will "give you credit" for burning calories. I guess there are too many variables in weight lifting.0
