Calorie count

So I spoke with my DR this morning about gaining weight but losing inches and my calorie count. He advised me my calorie count is perfect. As a type 2 diebetic I should be eating about 1800 calories a day without excerise. With excerise burning off about 900 a day I need to eat at least 2100 calories a day to not have my blood sugar plumet on me from working off 900 calories. He also advised me that the food I'm eating is perfect. And yes he's an OB and has diabetes himself. I hope this helps any diabetic person or anyone losing weight. Cause I was beating myself up for eating 3 meals a day and 3 snacks and thought I was eating way to much.
Average day
Small tortilla
2 eggs with 2 pieces of bacon scrambled
1 0z of cheese or 2 slices of american cheese
Snack - english muffin or pretzel crisps
lunch
Lean Cuisine meal
or
BLT (made with olive oil mayo and smartwhite wonder bread)
or
soup
or
salad (with some type of meat on it. chicken usually)
snack - yogurt
Dinner
Any of the above or I make up a protein and have a vegtable with it
If I'm still hungry have a salad.
snack - cottage cheese (1/2 cup) and a small bowl of pears or mandarin oranges mixed in
If I'm still hungry I always bring something extra like a serving of baked chips, or a fruit to help.
