So I am on week 2 of MFP, and week 1 of doing the 30 Day Shred.
This week, I have had horrible gas starting mid-morning and lasting for the rest of the day. No pains, just really bad, very smelly gas. I work in an open cubicle area and can't keep spraying perfume or running to the bathroom every few minutes.
I thought it was from eating the Pure Protein Bars, but I have not had one today. (although this is nothing like when I ate a Fiber One bar, search for "fiber one gas" and there is a great website that comes up that is hillarious!)
My diary is open, does anyone see anything that may be to blame? I thought maybe it was exercising in the morning that was loosening up my intestines so I did not work out this morning and will work out tonight, but I still have gas!!
Help!!!!

Well, taking a quick glance at your diary it's hard to say for sure, but I do have one thought. I don't see many snacks, and often your lunch is rather light. I tend to have the worst issues with gas when my stomach is too empty for too long. So you may try breaking your calories up a bit more and not letting yourself get too hungry.
Hope you get it worked out and are feeling better soon.0 -
I had a similar experience when I first began a healthier style of eating. I don't know what your diet was like previously, but I believe mine had to do with eating more fruits/veggies and whole grain foods...which contain more fiber...which in turn, well, you know...
And if that's the case, my body adjusted and it eventually slowed down.
