I am finding it fun to find healthy meals. BUT I am running out of ideas!!! Please help!!! So far I make my lunch the day before so that I can think about it. I have also found that shopping once a week lets you buy only what you need and no junk food. Today I am making Lemon pepper chicken breast (4oz) steamed peas and carrots 2/3 cups each and for dessert my fav a mini fruit salad.... I am not a huge water drinker so crystal light is a must... all under 500 cal. Oh yea... tomorrow I will be making stuff peppers with lean turkey ground! yummo! I am starting to believe that I will finally someday start to live! It really will get easier!!! I know it will, and i am motivated!!! PLEASE SHARE!!!

crock pot is my lifesaver... I made fajitas, pulled pork, bbq chicken, all sorts of good stuff... you can throw everything together at night and then let it cook all day. The slow cooking gives great flavors without having to resort to butter/fats. If you don't have one... get one! They're less than $50.

I have gotten some really great recipe ideas from www.skinnytaste.com they have a lot of healthier versions of a lot of different foods and most of the food that I make I modify a little and make them with even fewer calories.

+1 on the allrecipes.com reference. Heck, I'm a paid member, I love it so much over there!

I make smoothies in the morning. Super quick, super easy. I use one little 3.5oz tub of Chobani Champions greek yogurt, a banana, 5 strawberries, a splash of water and enough ice to make it cold (unless i was smart and froze the banana the night before, then i dont need ice) If I find that if I'm going to be low on protein for the day, a scoop of protein powder goes into the mix and I'm no longer short on protein. :)
