Hey everyone,
I feel like I'm never quite full these days. Can anyone suggest some snacks or meals that are filling but also low in calories?

A cup of blueberries or raspberries. There's about 80 calories in both cups, there's a lot of them... And... They're delicious!0

Vegetables!
I especially like cauliflower or baby carrots with a little hummus. Also, i add powered ranch dressing to plain greek yogurt as a dip for broccoli. Tastes just like real ranch, but way less calories and fat, and a little added protein.0 -
Ore Ida hashbrowns are fat free and filling. I make mine in a non stick pan with a touch of Pam then I scramble in some egg whites (2-3), add some salsa and you're all set. Very filling plus lots of good low fat protein.0

2 TBLS Ken's lite asian sesame dressing
1/4 cup La Choy crunchy lo mein noodles
1/2 cup chopped cucumber
4oz cooked porkchop (center cut)- leftovers from last nights dinner
1/4 cup of craisins0 -
House Tofu Shirataki Noodle Shaped Tofu
Only forty calories for the whole bag. It's healthy and it's extremely satisfying. Unfortunately, it's a little expensive for an everyday item, so I use it as a treat.
I learned about it at:

For dinner make some salsa chicken (brown boneless, skinless chicken breast, add chicken stock, add salsa) and you've got a yummy dinner at about 30 calories per ounce of chicken and just a few more for the salsa and stock. Chicken is filling, lower in fat and keeps you full.0

I have to second the idea of mixing dry dressing mix and greek yogurt. So yummy! Sometimes I'll use a packet of Italian dressing, just to mix things up.
Munching on an apple and a handful of almonds is a good (and portable!) snack.
Try to stay away from those "100 Calorie" snacks that offer minimal nutritional value.0 -
Vegetable Stir Fry.... Buy them "pre cut" and it will give you the kcal count.... I had a whole meal (stirfry) for 74kcals tonight and added Chow Mein sauce for 84kcals... Delicious and really fills you up!!
(if you dont use any oil in the pan and cover it with a lid, the veg will steam itself to soften and then you can cook the water off at the end to make it go brown!)

A couple of hard boiled eggs on top of a huge salad. And I mean huge. 2 C lettuce, 2 C spinach, 1 C steamed broccoli, a shredded carrot, a sliced tomato, a C steamed cauliflower with a homemade dressing that includes a tablespoon of olive oil with lime juice, vinegar, herbs and seasoning and you'll be full. The fiber, water, eggs and oil help you stay full for a long time. Only 370 calories or so.0
