So if I have a surplus of calories, can i carry it over to the next day?

I wouldn't. I am not a nutritionist, so I can't give you a definitive answer. But I would leave them behind and start the next day anew.0

Yeah, I wouldn't carry them over... just sounds like a set up for failure in my opinion. I'd just forget about them and start over each day0

I wouldn't. If you start doing that where does it end? Just be proud of the day that you had, and approach the next day as it's very own checks and balances. I do feel this way some day too, with exercise I have a surplus of up to 900 on some days, and then the next day I'm stagnant and have to eek out 1200 and that's it. It can be torture, especially when I have a craving. I either do something that allows me the extra calories or use self control to get me into the next day.0

If you are calorie cycling maybe? I don't know much about this. I am getting imformation from my friends who are professionally educated.0
