that burns more calories than the stupid machine say? I notice a lot of people say the machines are totally overestimating, but mine (according to my HRM) is underestimating.

I wonder which one is right? :laugh:

    I think I'd go w/ the HRM...especially if its higher....:bigsmile:

    Mine does the same thing because it doesn't take into account gender/weight/height. Trust your HRM.

    The gym machines say I am burning 3-400 per 30 minutes. My HRM says I am burning 200. I am totally disappointed with that.
    When I walk for my 40 minutes though, with all the daycare kids, this site says 150 calories but the HRM says almost 200..so I am happy with that.
    Everyone says use what the HRM says..so I am.
