Alrighty ladies....where are we all at? Feelings, highs and lows from this past week, things we need to improve on for the coming week? I think at this point we should all know what has worked for us in the past weeks and what hasn't so with 57 more days (8 weeks) left, how are you going to kick it into overdrive?

Good morning Ladies!!
weighed in at 154.8 today, down 1.2 pounds from last week. / To make the challenge I need to lose 5.4 more pounds, I think I'll have No problem with that :blushing:
I had to update my ticker to reflect my weight loss challenge
Last night I pigged out on Butter almond & raw almonds, OH! and canteloup & banana. I was so scared the scale was going to jump up today. I'm just glad I made some healthy choices when I did pig out.
My plan's
1.) walking / walking & more walking (10 hours walked in a week)
2.) Weight lifting 3 times a week , 30 minutes each
3.) The Veggie Part I really need to work on / I get it in my breakfast shake and My Broccoli pizza & luckly I might add spinach to my dinner once a month. ( I really, really need to eat more. )
4.) And water, I can't seem to drink more then 6 cups a day. ( I need to work on that too)
Good Luck to everyone! I hope you all have a GREAT Weigh in!!!! :flowerforyou:0 -
Well, I was so pumped up last week to stop making excuses not to work out & eat right...and hours after I posted about it I got the bug.
I lost 3 pounds in 12 hours...It did bump me down to the 170's, which was nice but thats a hell of a way to lose 3 pounds.
I am hoping to get in a great workout tonight so that I can get back into my routine!!
Everyone has been doing such a fantastic job!!!!! Im soooo happy I joined S2S  It has given me an incredible amount of support and motivation to lose weight!0 -

Happy Friday everyone...
I had a pretty good week this week. I've been stalled but still trucking along, but with the weather breaking and spring peeking out again, I'm motivated! I feel like I'm going to finish this strong
Fitness goals: I'm sticking with Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism with Jillian, C25K and I really need to be more consistent with yoga
Food goals: a pounds of veggies everyday. I keep telling myself, "its just 16 ounces". Its hard but I definitely feel the benefit of not feeling weighed down by my food after a meal.
100 oz of water is not a goal, its a must
I decided to aim for 5 inches lost this month. I also streamlined my weigh #s. My ticker said one thing, signature another, my Friday weigh-ins another thing, my wii something else. I woke up this morning not really sure how much I actually weighed so from today, I am just going to update on Fridays. It makes me a little crazed because of the fluctuations in the numbers but I am trying to break up with the scale and fall in love with my tape measurer which requires lots more patience and consistency over time.
Have an awesome weekend everyone...0 -
I posted this on both boards because I really wanted to get my point across...
I just wanted to point something out to everyone. I hope they are not offended that I am "calling them out" or putting them on the spot. But I just realised that the two ladies who have stayed at the top of our leader board almost the entire challenge are in their late to mid-40s. I am so proud of everyone, but these ladies have proven that you can lose at any age if you set your mind to it. Its really amazing they are at the age where metabolisms slow down, menopause may have started and they are still doin' the damn thing. So kuddos to you for not using any excuses like age to keep you from getting to your goal.0 -
Okay so I am down 1.2 pounds. Pretty happy about that! However, I haven't been working out like I normally do because I feel like poopie! I got whatever bug that's going around so that may be why I've lost weight too. On the plus side I have lost a couple more inches too though!0

I am feeling MUCH better! Since Monday, I have lost 5.2 of the 5.6 pounds of water weight I gained last week - phew!!! I can move my rings (off my finger!), just feel sooo much better. If only I could say that was a "real" loss! Back to where I was though, just am a bit bummed I wasted 2 weeks (bloating one, and losing it the next). Very relieved (no pun intended!).
I think this week showed me that it really makes a difference for me to hit the gym (and up the water) - I think that was really what helped me clear out the excess. And eating better. Last week I was under on calories daily, but was not making the healthiest choices. I have a container that I take to the gym so 4 of those are consumed withing the hour workout and the drive home - the rest goes on throughout the day.
Can't wait to see what next week will be like if I really stick to the gym and keep my water up! I am pumped up!!!! HAPPY, HAPPY DANCE!!!!0 -

I have been working out Insanity and in my second week currently. I have been doing my 5K runs either. I was expecting that the scale will reflect but it didnt happen. Hmmmmmm,Sigh. The pain in the calfs from tons of jumping in Insanity is bad. Well, I plan to stick with Insanity and 5K. I have my first 5K race on next saturday. I had an accomplishment this week on 5K. Here is the link to it.

Good job to all of you who are trying to be on track.0 -
We are more than 100 days into this challenge! GREAT commitment EVERYONE!!
I did another 10 days of the Shred at level 2 and lost a half inch from my waist. That was pretty cool, although I think I'm gonna have no waist left soon, and be all hips!
I didn't consistently stick to any of the goals I set last week, (which is why I prefer to take it day by day).
I'm UP :noway: 3 lbs from 2 weeks ago, and have been eating pretty bad, but I'm happy to announce that today is the END of that horrible, horrible eating. I want to get a workout in tonight, but if I don't get to it, I'm fine with that because I want to focus more on my eating right now anyway. I've always had trouble balancing the 2, so I have to keep working at that. :ohwell:
It's time to start moving back down the the 170's!!

TeresaSavage... You are doing amazing!! I can't believe you're almost there! That's so inspiring! I know you'll be able to get more veggies and water in!
Cassie... The trick now, is to keep those lbs away!
leandread... Good luck with those inches. Work it! I know you can make it! That seems like a really great number to aim for.
dinareed... Congrats with the inches. I think inches get me more excited than weight loss... almost!
Suzeesmu... Woo! You're moving the rings again! Great hydration!0 -
Steph..You are the Shred Queen!!!!! You go girl!!!
I am sure you will lose thos epounds fast & be back to where you want to be in no time!
With the nicer weather here I am hoping to change up my workout routine and get some exercise in outside with my daughter!0 -
Okay I think I am finally ready to post. I had to gather my thoughts and try to come up with some goals this week. I have been doing terribly! And I am doing it consciously, full well knowing I am sabotaging myself. I'm up a little more this week from last week, but down a little from mid-week this past week. I had gotten back up to 192 and I was 190.8 this morning. I need to take control of my life and just do what I know needs to be done. I don't know how much longer I can whine and moan and groan about not losing as fast as I want or gaining or whatever! I am solely responsible for what goes in my mouth and if I decide to work out or not. Sometimes I act like food is not going to be around the next day and I feel (in that moment) like I have to have it because I won't have access to it later. I'm figuring out what my triggers are and it's probably best for me to not indulge in any sweets at all, specifically chocolate!
Or only reward myself with something if I met a certain goal. So it is time I stand up and be accountable for my actions and stop making excuses!!
So my goals for this coming week:
Stay within 1400 NET calories
Stay within my carb/fat/protein goals
Get up and do my exercise before work in the morning (or else I might not get it done)
No sodas period, not even diet (this week)
94 oz water daily, even if I have to force it down
Exercise at least 3 times this week (more will be great)
That is a lot to ask of myself, but I can do it and I HAVE to do it if I want to see results. I'm tired of pu**yfooting around.0 -

AMEN! You don't need to be young to take control of your life and happiness!! I am so glad that I am taking care of this now, so that hopefully, my children will grow up strong and healthy and never have to struggle with weight like my husband and I have!0 -

They are all really pretty! I like #2 and #3 maybe a bit more than #1 - but #1 may fit you better than it does the model! You will look lovely in any of them - you have to post a pic of you from that night so we can see you all gussied up!!0 -

For a long time I had I hard time eating around my husband. For some reason I would feel like I had to eat as much as I could because I was afraid he would eat it all. (In particular when we would share a plate of something.) I now have to have my own plate, even with pizza.
Have you tried the dark chocolate 60% coco or greater? I find that if I eat dark chocolate I don't get the sugar triger, that makes me keep eating, till it is all gone. Only time I do that now is PMS time.
I can not have baked goods in the house, which makes me sad because I love to bake. But it is a huge trigger food for me.0 -

I PICK DRESS 2 or 3 / But my favorite would have to be 3
If your a nice height id go with 3 and if your on the shorter side I'd go with 2
HAVE A BLAST! Im sure you'll look fabulous in any of them.0 -
whittrusty... Those dresses are all great! I love the first one, but if I were to choose between the 2 red ones, I would go with #2 because it would be more flattering on me. I think I like that neckline in 2 better as well. The black on is also sexy! I like #1 and 3 best. You're gonna rock whichever you get!Steph..You are the Shred Queen!!!!! You go girl!!!

Brandy, you are doing an amazing job and we all have weeks like that, i know because i have been horrible the last couple of weeks, eating junk, not working out and i feel guilty about it but i continue to do it, i think the worst thing to do is beat yourself up over it. from personal experience i can tell you, when i beat myself up over it, i just end up doing worse, if i beat myself up over calories, i end up binging, if i beat myself up over not working out i end up not doing anything!!! so just try to stay positive, i know it is hard and i'm really not the best person to be telling you this considering, i am very negative about it myself, but the more positive you are the more positive results you will see. Just do what you can next week and try not beat yourself up if you dont do something :happy:0 -
Hello my little sunshines  I havent weighed this week because I weighed earlier in the week and i was up 4lbs from two days before, I cant tell if its TOM or whats going on with me but i have been eating everything in sight and not having any energy to work out, so for this week i am going to do my best to get back into the routine of working out. So my goals for the week are:
Stay within my goal calories, Follow my workout plan for training for 5k, and try to do some 6week6pack in there as well  I am trying to be more positive about things and not beat myself up over my mistakes, hopefully this will help me to stay on track a little better. Oh and congrats to all that had a loss this week :flowerforyou:0
