Hi ,
I have been going through various articles about daily water requirement and I calculated that my body needs an average between 3800ml to 4300 ml depending on the weather ...
Lot of water in less time .. increases the fluid volume in the body .. Which means we are putting extra load on the heart to pump that extra volume ... and it also messes our electrolyte imbalance ...
Now ..How do I take it ??
--> Consuming about 10-12 Oz ( Approx 350 ml ) for every hour .. or..
--> Take Good amount of water when the day starts ... and decrease it as the day progresses .. or..
--> Or just trust the signals from the body and drink water only when I feel thirsty ...
Any other better way to plan my water ??

i drink about 400ml's when i wake as i'm usually dehydrated, then trust my body, but always drink at least 2000mls, sometimes double it, i trust my signals, its only when you're body's not used to water intake you lose your natural intuition.

I've read somewhere that you shouldn't wait until you're thirsty to drink water. I drink most of my water in the late afternoon/evening (unless I'm working out) because my job has me moving from place to place and sometimes no bathroom is available -- if you know what I mean.

I've heard (I can't remember where) that once you feel physically thirsty, you are already experiencing early signs of dehydration.

I have one of those big plastic Coke cups. It hold about 4.5 cups of water. I fill that in the morning and have it sitting next to me (sedentary at home job, so no issue there) and nurse that until it is gone. I usually end up drinking 3+ of these a day throughout the day. I feel it is a more balanced water intake than drinking a ton early on or later in the evening.

I normally have water with me at all times... from the time I get out of the shower until I go to bed. I would say I drink about 8-10 oz an hour... sometimes more depending on the time of day and my thirst level.

The good thing that water does .. Is remove out all the toxins from the body ... Keeps us cool ... and I even heard people say that it helps us lose weight (I am still trying to figure out how this is going to help me lose weight ?? ) ...and found this just now :)

I have a 24oz insulated tumbler, after breakfast I fill it, and have to have it gone before I eat lunch. I fill it again after lunch and finish it off before dinner. After dinner I fill it again, and it is usually gone before bed. At bed time I fill it again, and I will sip on it thru the night if needed. In the morning if the tumbler isn't empty I finish it off before my coffee and breakfast. I know I am at least getting 90-96 oz of plain water a day. In the summer it is more.
