Is it really possible to not consume any processed foods? If so how? I find it very difficult with my hectic schedule. Any tips?

I have a pretty hectic schedule too, so I try to always plan ahead and pack my breakfast, lunch and dinner the night before. I try to consume as little processed food as possible; most of my processed foods comes solely from snacks. Feel free to add me if you'd like to check out my food diary =).

I think your creativity and will power will dictate it's possibility.

Plan a day of cooking and prepare all of your meals for the week ahead of time (or at least portions of each meal) and I bet that will prevent you from having to make the convenient choices while you're at work and hungry.

I eat a ton of green veggies and fresh fruit and if you plan ahead, you can prepack small meals the night before heading out which for me removes the hecticness of making bad food choices. I package my salad in a bowl and put my dressing in a tinier bowl or packet inside with the salad. Or you can put carrots, cukes, tomatoes or whatever your preference in baggies. Crackers and cheese pack up nicely as well. I make sandwich wraps sometimes, or have boiled eggs on hand. This isn't to say that processed food is not in my day, but it certainly it less often. I hope this helps. My diary is public if you want to review it.

The only time me and the spouse eat processed foods is when we eat out at a rarely occasional fast food joint. Meat, veggies, fruit, nuts, grains, legumes. It nature can't make it then generally its unhealthy for us. Making meals/snacks up is neither labor intensive or time consuming. If its in a package or box with more ingredients other then the raw ingredients if you actually made it from scratch then they are not healthy choices. Good luck.
