I've never used any artificial sweetener for baking. What works best and tastes good?

Splenda is a game changer in my opinion. I'm not much of a cook, but I do use Splenda in ice tea and coffee. It's much better than Equal and Sweet-N-Low IMHO.

I really don't use sweeteners lol other than honey on occasion...I have two recipes I'd like to try but they call for small amounts of sugar 1/2 cup for a whole recipe...

I sense some sarcasm. Really not necessary, is it?

To the poster - I use Truvia. It hasn't worked well for baking. My friend baked some cookies with Splenda and they were delicious.

I second third and fourth on the Splenda!

Its great! I also love it on EVERYTHING! lol my husband calls it snow. because it looks like artifical snow flakes. lol

I am not sure if you are aware of this helpful hint, but Apple sauce can take the place of your Oil and it tastes just as good. and has the same effect. use equal parts.

I like Stevia. You can get it in liquid or granual form. Plus, it dosn't seem to have any bad side effects.
