The more I do that the harder it is to stay on my diet. I need to prepare my meals more but am soooo busy!! Just curious if theres anyone who knows really quick meals.. maybe something I can put in the fridge and take servings of. I also am going to start making green monster smoothies and I heard you can keep them in the fridge for 2 days.. soo thatll help!! If you have any ideas to share let me know! Thanks Love Jessie:)

A great way to make tasty simple chicken is stick it in a pan with broth of some kind and stick it in the microwave for 15 min, flipping halfway. Keep it covered with clingwrap to keep the liquid in. Its really tender and you can stick it in or on anything, like a salad or a sandwich.0

We are a pretty busy family of 5. The 3 kids are all 4 and under, so I understand the need for easy, healhty, and fast. Do you ever get any time to "batch cook"? I will take like 4 pounds of chicken breast, cut it up into smaller pieces cook it, and add different spices. Then you can just put it with anything,. In salad, with pasta, as a main dish. Its very versitle and would be lready cooked, so just reheat and serve with a side dish.0

Any type of soup, casserole, pasta that you can make ahead of time would be great! I try to prep for the week on Sunday. I'm not always successful. Some of my quick make foods:
Quesadilla (bean, cheese, tortilla, salsa) ... microwave or on the stove...doesn't take much time at all!
Baked Potato & Broccoli
Chop up some veggies and store them in the fridge for a quick fix salad
Egg Sandwich
I try not to eat the pre-packaged meals (Lean Cuisine, WW, Healthy Choice) but will buy the Kashi brand frozen meals on occasion.0 -
I tried using the low calorie frozen dinners but I found they were high in sodium. I generally buy several packages of turkey breast slices (40 calories per slice) . I use the healthy life bread (35 calories per slice). I buy fresh vegetables for toppings that I seperate out. 110 calories per sandwich. Good luck!0

Try maybe making veggie wraps or sandwiches ahead and throwing them in the fridge (and then add dressing/sauce later so it doesn't get soggy?)0

Maybe do a crock pot meal that you can divide up and some in fridge and some in freezer and then next week do another and after a few weeks you will have a variety in the freezer to chose from. Lots and Lots of great receipes for slower cookers under the Receipe thread.
Homemade will always be better than store bought! Good Luck, we know you can do it!0 -
Soups and especially chili are my go to meals for the week. I also chop up lettuce and veggies to throw together a quick salad.0

I make a pot of one pound of dried beans on Saturday and eat that every day for lunch during the week. It's the ultimate lunch! Protein, fiber...it's got it all! Add a banana or apple and you're good to go!0
