I started here on Monday and I love it! It seems to be so easy.I did Weight Watchers and that was hard to keep up with no matter what they say. I believe that this will be my time and this is the plan for me!

I too am a 1 week "Newbie" and LOVE it! 2 weeks ago I was miserable and saw no hope and that I should just be happy being fat....no longer. I am now on my way to a better way of eating and thinking and in it for the long haul.

Hi there! Just want to welcome you! I love this site and find it very helpful in many, many weighs:laugh: I really love watching my ticker change as I lose weight! That is so much incentive! The calorie counter is fantastic! The support from other members is unending! I pray you are successful in your weight loss endeavor and achieve a healthy balance in your life!
I am 49 years old, have lost 39 pounds so far and yes, I did have Lap-Band surgery to assist me, after decades of playing the yo-yo game with no success! Now it is all about eating healthy, eating small portions and exercising! I just had a hysterectomy April 1st so I have a little recovery time before I can hit the gym, but I can't wait!
I pray I reach my goal before the beginning of October as my husband and I are renewing our vows for our Silver Anniversary. WOW, 25 wonderful years!0 -
Hello people I am very much new in the sense that this is the first time I have properly used this I have normally just used this via apps on my iPod to know what percentage of carbs and vitamins is in particular foods but haven't really done any of the exercise I will admit I have been slightly lazy with it and myself! Lol
However, since recently quitting smoking over a week ago and being able to breath more deeply than I ever could before has released a new energy in myself to want to sort out the next issue being my weight of course as I am looking to get back to full physical health to help prevent any further operations from taking place!
Just trying to gather some friendly support to try and encourage and egg me on when I get those lazy days, and to likewise return the favour if anyone needs same?
