MyJen sent me this site so we could lose together long distance. We have taken this road before and rock it for a little while, but life just seems to get in the way. I am really liking this site, not having to calculate all the calories on a sheet of paper and actually seeing the little report lines and tickers move is a great motivator. I am super serious about weight loss this time. I was recently diagnosed as a pre diabetic, which scares the hell out of me. I am also getting married and do not want to be one of those "How did she get him?" couples. So if you are losing over 50, getting married, have kids, struggled with an eatting disorder, or are losing for medical reasons Im your buddy!

  • sending you an add buddy... i'm almost all of those. I was skinny when I met my husband, now I'm 59 lbs heavier then him! I'm constantly struggling with my eating and this site has really helped out a lot! and adding friends and keeping my diary not on private anymore has helped me even more! I just started adding friends a few days ago but have been a member for a few months. Didn't think I needed any but now I see it really helps.

Hi. I need to lose over 50. I'm not getting married anytime soon, as far as I know though. I'd have to ask my boyfriend about that one. lol. I recently change my food diary to friends only, before I had it as private but then I realized there was no point because there was no one to help keep me honest other than myself. Feel free to request me as a buddy.

I'm a STUGGLING bulemic and need to lose 30 pounds. I've had an eating disorder my entire adult life and totally understand what you're going through. I'm here if you need me.
  • Hi there! Just want to welcome you! I love this site and find it very helpful in many, many weighs:laugh: I really love watching my ticker change as I lose weight! That is so much incentive! The calorie counter is fantastic! The support from other members is unending! I pray you are successful in your weight loss endeavor and achieve a healthy balance in your life!

I am 49 years old, have lost 39 pounds so far and yes, I did have Lap-Band surgery to assist me, after decades of playing the yo-yo game with no success! Now it is all about eating healthy, eating small portions and exercising! I just had a hysterectomy April 1st so I have a little recovery time before I can hit the gym, but I can't wait!

I pray I reach my goal before the beginning of October as my husband and I are renewing our vows for our Silver Anniversary. WOW, 25 wonderful years!
