I'm really frustrated, Im from Australia and most of our food doesnt state calories.
I just tried to add some Smith's Stax and it wont let me because even though I have the information off the nutritional panel for literaly everything else, the label doesnt state 'Calories' so I it won't let me process it/add it!!!!!!

If the label has the macronutrients (fat, protein and carbs) you can calculate it. 4 calories for each gram of protein and carbs and 9 calories for each gram of fat.

It's not the ideal solution, but at least it's a workaround.
  • Type '1000 kJ to Cal' into Google, that will convert it.

Obviously change the 1000 to whatever it is, but yeah.

Make sure you have the capital letters in the right place though, or it won't work.

I'm from Australia too, so I know what it's like :)

Hiya, have you tried Google or another search engine? I am assuming Smith's Stax is some kind of potato chip? And it looks like from searching that Smith's Stax may be similar to Lay's Stax, so if you can get calorie info on that, would that help? But the workaround Atlantique states seems like a good idea if searching the internet does not work. Or, maybe choosing generic or similar foods that are in the myfitnesspal database, whenever possible?
