Check out these two websites:
www.hundredpushups.com - contains multiple programs for training different parts of the body, no equipment required.
www.c25k.com - running program.
There are also workout videos you can get, but usually you need a couple dumbbells or some bands.0 -
Use empty windshield washer containers (ok... well GET them empty, free at my local gas stations) fill with water or sand or rock to give them weight... free weights...
Body weight exercises are all you need to get started though!0 -
I do the Leslie Sansone Walk away the pounds indoor walking sessions, excellent workouts..you can find them on you tube...look for the 10-15 min ones....0

Spring is here and it is a perfect time to get outside to
Walk
Run
Stairs
Stretching
Youtube.com has all kinds of stuff on there to do - Tai Chi or Zumba ( beginner moves and you can do) or other kinds of dance ( like those Dance-On videos for commercials are fun
Poke around and see what you would like to do.
My 13yo & I did one of the beginner Zumba ones and they were fun - no video necessary and only like 4min long but we did it over and over until we thought we were pretty good...LOL. That way if you do run across a video somewhere you will know if you want to go ahead and buy it or not.
I know the YMCA here has Zumba classes as well as lots of others but there is a yearly cost.0 -
I've also heard there are great workout videos on hulu, but you have to put up with commercials.0

I used canned goods as my free weights for a long time. Then I found some really cheap weights at walmart. I used family size cans of ravioli for my weights before! they worked great.0 -
thanks you for the idea0
