Hi! I'm turning 30 in 9 days and my goal was to be 150 lbs by that time. I'm not reaching that goal so I'm setting new ones. I've posted these on my blog. I am a mother of 3 step sons, 3 biological sons, and 1 daughter. I'm a pet groomer, though I'm working towards having my license in massage therapy and certificates in life coaching, nutrition, and hypnotherapy. I will also get certified in personal training. My goal is to take a wholistic approach to a healthy body and help obese people get there. I don't have much support with friends and my husband. My mother is a bit pushy and makes me want to rebel (yes even at 30 I feel like I want to rebel from my parents). My goal is to work a healthy program and reach out to this community for support and friendship. I look forward to meeting people here!

Hey there! You will find alot of support here. My advise to you is to log log log all of your food...good and bad! Being honest is the only way this will work. Feel free to add me if you want. Good luck on your journey. Always remember you are not alone.

Happy early birthday!! And you will get to your goal weight, it just takes time. I too am working toward certification as a weight-loss coach and am working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Sounds like we have some of the same goals in common as far as helping other people who struggle with their weight. Best wishes to you in this journey. Hang in there, be patient, and keep pursuing. Take one day at a time, one step at a time and you will be successful.
