I worked my *kitten* off today doing an hour & 3 miles on the treadmill, 30 minutes yoga and strength training on the wii fit+, and just finished 30 minutes shooting hoops with my kids. I was feeling great, then I came inside changed my clothes and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Totally ruined my spirit. I can't wait to SEE a change. I feel like I work out so hard, and watch what I eat so much shouldn't I be SEEING a difference, not just feeling it after 3 months? Sigh.

I know how you feel. I've been doing a lot of exercise and staying under my calorie goal. My scales do not show it but I feel like my clothes are fitting better. Keep up the good work, it will pay off!

:flowerforyou: Hang in there it will come with time...remember you didn't get that heavy overnight so it is not going to fall off. One day you will look and say wow is that really me in the mirror!
  • Same here. Stupid scale. Not so keen on mirrors either. I'm just going to keep at it. Consistency is the key that I need to master at this point in the game.

i make a point of not looking at my reflection when ever its possible for the same reason as you point out so i suggest forget your reflection and focus on your objective....to lose weight and look great :)

It is always harder to see the changes yourself then for other people to notice them. You see yourself everyday and so it takes longer for you to see it.
