Yikes! I ate a lot of sunflowers seeds today- I think about a cup of them- I didnt measure but it feels like that and so at 130cal 1 oz.......that is over 1000 just for them. And I am going out to eat tonight with my bf.
yikes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am going to the gym after work but this is the first time I will be over this much. It is scary to see it posted. ugh!
I plan to run 45min and then elipical for 30 min and that makes it less over but still with dinner out- it makes me sad I will not be able to really enjoy it much.

yes, be careful with sunflower seeds, they are considered a VERY calorie dense food.0

Don't be so hard on yourself! I:flowerforyou: t happens to all of us on this road to healthier eating. Just look at in a better light, you got a lot of really good nutrients that you most likely don't get throughout other days. So you've kind of stocked up on 'em.
What helps is measuring things out, it might seem like a hassle but it can really help. It also avoids that popcorn phenomenon where you eat mindlessly out of the bag because you can!
You can also try to help balance it by picking something healthy at dinner?

yep you are right.
Lesson learned- well relearned. I just cant buy a bag of nuts and leave them at my desk.
I will just workout a lot tonight. I am hiking both Sat and Sun so that should burn some of them off for sure. And a good salad tonight and 2 glasses of wine and that is that.
But it just sucks to see it staring at me in the food tab. But at least this is a rare thing and I know not to do it again.

also, were they shelled? eating a cup of seeds you have to shell is a lot different from the easy pickins of the already shelled sunflower seeds.
I started buying my sunflower seeds, peanuts and pistachios all in the shell.. and salt free. I am getting used the the actual taste of the nut-instead of the salt.
