How to start at the Gym

Can anyone recommend a good website for me to find out how to begin at the gym. I'm planning on starting at one near me but there are no other fitness people in there so can't ask for help.

HIGHLY recommed you sign up with a trainer - at least for enough sessions to properly learn how to use the equipment and maybe even customize a workout plan for you. My trainner became a great friend! :flowerforyou: The gym can be a daunting place if you don't know what you're doing....and it can be the best thing you ever do for you - when you know what you're doing!
Much luck to you!0 -
Ditto on getting a personal trainer. They are great for newbies in the gym, especially understanding how to use the equipment and for what body parts. If for some reason there isn't a trainer for hire in your gym, then I would recommend buying a magazine specializing in physicial fitness. There are a lot out there but I would buy a mag geared towards females such as Oxygen.
Best of luck to you!
