Alright guys I ate lunch at about 11:30. I want food again already and it's only been an hour. Look at my diary and let me know what you think I should snack onn

    how about a protein bar and a bottle of water or maybe an ounce of almonds or peanut butter on celery

    i dig nuts. especially honey roasted almonds and honey roasted sunflower seeds. they fill me up. i also love string cheese, black berries and nature vally dark chocolate granola thins and a glass of milk (1%). this is my typical snackfare and it usually holds me over. also, i usually throw in a couple pieces of chocolate (dove dark chocolate promises at 42 calories per piece) - that way, my brain thinks i just indulged a lot, even if it was just a little bit. good luck!

    ps~i think it's good, though, that you're getting hungry so quickly - your metabolism must be on the up and up.

    pps~chug some water. it's possible that you are more thirsty than hungry.

    You don't need snacks. You need to freaking eat man. You're an 18 y/o male, have some meat or eggs for breakfast and some oatmeal, not cereal. It won't do jack crap for you and satiation.

    Trade in some carbs for more protein too. At 18 (and assuming you workout for basketball) you need AT LEAST 1g Protein/lb body weight. You're not helping yourself eating 240 calories for breakfast and then 4oz of meat for lunch dude.

    Eat at least your maintenance level, there's a reason it's called 'maintenance.' You're still growing too.
