I went to the deli with my friends yesterday and wa looking for something healthy to eat. I decided to get a chicken salad wrap and the guy asked if I wanted a regular wrap, whole wheat, or spinach. I chose the spinach since it was vegetable but which is healthier? also, what do they use in a chicken salad? because I thought it would be a peice of chicken with lettuce but there was mayo (I think) and celery? I'm not sure. anyways, I only ate half since it was big and filling and I ate the other half the next day :) so which is healthier?! thank you!!

Whole wheat wrap. The mayo could bring the salad down. If you ask for nothing but chicken and lettuce no mayo, then I'd say the salad. Either way they are both fine to have!

Definitely whole wheat. Go with whole wheat whenever you have a choice of breads or wraps. As for chicken salad, it really depends on the place and how much mayo they put in it. That's why even though chicken//tuna have low calories on their own, sandwiches with them in it can be high in calories if they are packed with mayo. Most sandwich places make their chicken and tuna salads already, so it would be hard to get them without mayonnaise.

A chopped grilled chicken breast is a great option if it's available. If not, ham, turkey, and roast beef are all usually low in fat and calories. I'd recommend them over a mayonnaise filled chicken or tuna salad.

Whole wheat, go for turkey breast and have spinach as your green instead of lettuce in it. I get spinach on my sub at subway mmmmmm!! Yummy.
