i have learned a lot about myself in the 525 days that i have been here. one thing i have learned is to not sweat the small things (going over calories) - that one mistaken food does not have to equal a whole meal of bad choices, or one meal does not have to equal a day of eating whatever, or one day of massive binging does not have to equal another one. another thing is to make 'exercise' enjoyable. if i don't enjoy it, i procrastinate. what are some things you have learned about yourself and some things you hope to never have to repeat?

  • soooo true.

when i didnt enjoy something i put it off... but i still push myself even though i didnt want to do it. but i always felt better.
i freaked out when i went over my food but i knew if i calculated what i needed to do and what needed to be done. i set my goal and do em.
also, i dont do things cause i dont feel like it. (letting me emotion get the best of me) and not taking charge of what need to be done.
at least that what i learned about myself. and for that i know i am strong. :)
when i write it down, and have it in visual, that i can see it. i wont give up until i get there. :)
and usually that leads me to feeling greater about myself. :)

I think my mistake wwas getting heavy in the first place. I have had good days and bad days trying to lose it, but at least I care enough now to think about the good and bad and get off my butt and get some exercise everyday.
