Does anyone else have issues finding the right calories for wines etc. ? I can't seem to find the type of wines that I drink

I emailed the company to find out...google them. :drinker:
  • I think they are all about the same, based on alcohol content, unless it's a blend with other fruit juices or flavorings. You can always Google it, for example, "nutritional info for Pinot Noir," also, there is a great database at the USDA that may have more by brands, the link is:

Most white wines are in the 11-12% range, reds are generally 14.5 to 17% alcohol. Sugar for most wines is low, 2% or less. Desert wines and "late harvest" have higher residual sugar.

    Wow - excellent link!

I've had some wine in the past few months and I just added 160 calories for a 6 oz serving but that was for a generic red. Some wines (reislings, chenin blanc, late harvest, and desert wines) are a little higher.

Last weekend, I did a 2 1/2 day wine tasting/buying trip to Northern California. We tasted over 70 wines and I only drank one of them. All of the others were slurp, swirl, and spit. That made it a lot safer to drive and saved quite a few calories. :-)

I usually just search for wine wines or red wines. There are many different types listed under those names so I usually just use those.
