    hey! I feel your pain!

From what I have learned, from talking to my dr. and trolling the web, artificial sweeteners are the WORST possible thing. (a bit of hyperbole for funsies).

My dr. said that the natural sugar that comes from fruit or other foods that naturally have sugar, is sugar that you really can worry less about. It's the added sugar to desserts or your coffee that is worse.

I think that if you worry less (but still keep an eye on) the natural sugars in your food, and concentrate more on added sugar, and avoid ALL artificial sweetener you should be pretty good!

I go over my sugar intake pretty much every single day. MFP gave me a daily goal of 24g....one apple has 17g....I think the levels here are extremely low. I don't even worry about my sugar anymore. I don't eat candy or add sugar to anything and eat a very limited amount of processed foods...so I am not concerned with exceeding the sugar budget that MFP gave me.

I'm no expert, just sharing my experience.

I had the same problem but then when I looked closely the majority of my sugars were from fruits. On doing a little research I found that you can pretty much ignore fruit sugars which you seem to have quite a lot of too. It's processed sugar we need to stay away from - the enemy!!!! LOL

Aside from that may be just try to limit yourself to one sugary snack per day and then reduce it to every other day - at your own pace of course.
