I made this to take to a cook out yesterday. It was awesome!!! I changed it up a little so you can make your own additions. :) Here's the original recipe and blog. (great recipes there!)

4 oz reduced fat cream cheese, softened
1 cup fat free sour cream
1/2 cup Franks hot sauce (or whatever hot sauce you like)
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1 tsp white wine vinegar

2 cups (2 breasts) cooked shredded chicken

Mix the first 5 ingredients together until smooth. Add the chicken and put this in the crock pot on low for 3-4 hours. Serve warm. Makes 5 1/2 cups.

I just served it cold and it was great as a veggie dip!! Awesome w/ peppers, celery, cucumbers, carrots... whatever you have on hand or w/ crackers or tortilla chips. I used 2 large cans of canned chicken breast in water (drained), and instead of the crumbled blue cheese I used 4 Tablespoons of Marie's Light Chunky Blue cheese dressing. (you could try a lighter blue cheese or ranch) I also used Buffalo hot wing sauce and extra hot sauce.

It was sooooooo good!!!

I am definitely making this for my next party. Fat- free sour cream and cream cheese are great swaps in dip, no one ever notices the difference.

I thought about using greek yogurt or plain yogurt for a sub as well, but since I was taking it to serve for other people to start with I went w/ the light sour cream. Let me know if you try it!

I am a HUGE buffalo nut, so I have to try this! way healthier than my block of cream cheese, cup of ranch, cup of franks, and shredded chicken.

I tried making this - but replaced the sour cream for plain nonfat greek yogurt. But my result - not that great. Do u think it was bc of the yogurt? But I thought it was a common substitution... not sure if i want to try again...
