Hi MFP Friends!
Recently, I've taken up running and I have been totally addicted to it! I did hear from my dad and from a friend that I shouldn't run at high speeds because of the damage it could do. I was suggested to do it with an incline-- that way slowing down my speed while having an effective workout. Unfortunately, MFP doesn't have any calculations for incline workouts. Thought about getting a watch that measures calories. Been googling around and looking at Amazon...does anyone have any suggestions on what to get? I don't mind paying for a good watch but I'm not looking for something that is over-the-top-expensive. Thanks so much in advance!

One with a chest strap really makes it worth it, I got my New Balance N4 (specifically for women) for $57 and it has a chest strap (HRM) and you input age, height, m or f, and weight for accuracy.

Great! And this works with incline? How do you input the calories that these instruments give you?
