other carbs

I dont know if this has an obvious answer or not but, I wanted to know what it means when it lists "other carbs" on a food label. On a food item it usually shows the total amount of carbs, but then sometimes ill see like right below where the sugar is listed it will say "other carbs" and then a number. What does it mean and why isnt it posted in the total amount of carbs?
