Planning in Advance

Hey Guys,
I have decided that if I noted on my journal what I am going to eat for the whole day in the morning then this gives me no excuse to go crazy. I can also take to work what I have planned and ensure each meal is covered.
I am aiming to go walking later today, if the rain stops, as I am full of cold but don't want to just lie in bed all day.
xx

That is what I do on my work days... Log everything in and take it to work with me. Works well for me.0

I think it helps to plan as you can change your meals around if you know their is something you are really craving that day but don't want to over-run on the Cals! I am a comfort eater and hoping once my body gets used to a lower intake that this will stop some of the emotional eating.
Congratulations on your weight loss so far canaussie, you are doing really well!0 -
i do the same thing. i log everthing in that i am going to be taking to work and that is ALL that i eat. no vending machine for me. planning ahead is KEY!! great job planning!!0

thats exactly what i do on work days too, planning just takes the stress outa the day, because after exercise i just know i wouldn't eat and then i wouldnt lose weight, so if its all planned I know I have to eat it and i know how much of what. lol.

I do this as well - I plan for all my meals though, that way I know exactly what to buy when I go shopping! I've probably even saved some money doing it this way!0

I do the same. And I preview restaurant menus beforehand when I know I'm going out. Forewarned is forearmed... or, somethinglikethat0

I only started on the site on Friday, but I've been playing around with logging different dinners before I eat them, and based on what I've had for lunch, trying to balance out the protein/fat etc. Like for example on saturday I had an omelette for lunch, so I had almost all my daily protein right there. I had to get creative for a low protein dinner and made a veggie/potato soup instead of the chicken I'd been planning on.0

I do this EVERY day, not just work days. It's working well for me, especially on Tuesdays, which is our "socialising" night, when I know for a fact I am going to be tucking into sweet treats! I even plan my snacks on Tuesdays, just so that I know I can have something "naughty" in the evenings.0
