What to eat...

What do you all eat or drink before and after working out??

I find a Banana works best for me 30-60mins before working out. If I eat too much, or nothing at all during a strength work out my body hates me.
I also end up drinking a cup of water to take some medicine, but that's it! - After the work out I eat my normal breakfast.0 -
I try not to eat for an hr before workout because if I workout too hard I feel nauseated. I drink water throughout my workout so I I have the sensation of feeling full & then about 30-45 mins afterwards I make myself a protein shake. I use the powdered whey, light soy or Kefir if I got it, frozen strawberries or 1/2 a banana and if I'm feeling like it needs to be sweeter I'll put in about a quarter cup of Odwalla B Monster juice. Point is I try to kick up my protein AFTER my workout to 'feed the muscles" (that makes me giggle because it makes me sound like a big buff muscle bound girl--but I'm SO not). So far it's worked, I have had weight loss every week X 14! Good luck!0
