Is my app freaking out? Or does it change the amount of protein I need each day based on exercise?

Yes it changes the number based on your calorie allowance for the day. If you earn more calories from exercise, all the macro-nutrient numbers (carbs/fat/protein) go up too.0

You most defiantly need varying amounts of protein depending on activity. I always up my protein intake on strength training days and intense aerobic days. But most of us get enough without trying on off days or light workout days.0

Thanks guys! I'm new to circuit training. So when I added it to the cardio I already do each morning on the elliptical, it was like BAM! The protein jumped up!0

Just read my post fromyesterday and realized that I gave no reason for needing more protein when one exercises.. Working out breaks down muscle and protein is what the body uses to rebuild muscle. Perhaps others can give a better technical explaination, but this much is sufficient for me.0
