Let's just say I went 900mg over on my sodium today.. lol... anyway to counteract that?!

    workout and sweat it out, drinking more water will help, but sweating it out is the best.

    This is from Yahoo Answers where someone asked the same question... I'll 2nd the sweat it out suggestion above also.
    Foods which contain potassium and/or chloride; such as in bananas, kiwis, dates or egg yolks. These electrolytes help the body balance its sodium level; bringing it down to its natural state. Water can be used, but it only dilutes the sodium. The body would require a large amount of water to collect the sodium and pass it through the renal system. The former will take between several hours to a day to have an effect; depending upon your metabolism. Water will usually take longer, depending upon how much you drink and how often you urinate. The best thing to do is to eat fruit regularly. This will help maintain your body's natural level and reduce spikes in sodium whenever you eat salty foods; like popcorn.
