Hi MFP! I have been doing the INSANITY workout for three weeks and I thought that I would be jumping with joy over fat loss and weight loss... Sorry to say I have not lost an inch... but have lost 4 pounds! Why are the inches not coming off? I eat clean, I don't drink soda, I drink water, I'm never over my sodium... I'm at a loss you all! HELP ME.

How much protein are you eating? do you eat protein right after your work outs?0

you need muscle to burn fat. do you think you look more tone? do you find your strength getting better? you are losing which is great and likely your shape is changing. we are our own worst critics so give yourself a break and keep up the hard work0

Protein is very important, also are you drinking enough water. If you are drinking the recommended 64 ounces a day, add 2 extra glasses. Remember that sometimes those High Intensity workouts can cause you to lose weight, gain muscle but not inches !!!
The inches will start to melt away, just stick to it.!!!0 -
Just give it time. Keep doing what you are doing and you will see results soon.0

Thanks for all of the posts:
I eat protein about 20min. after my workout :-)
I feel as if I have gotten faster and a little stronger. I don't think I look any toner and my stuff isn't looser :-/
As for water... I drink about 10-12 glasses a day... but I'm more than willing to add more :-)
IM STILL AT IT!!!!! WORKING OUT IN ABOUT 40 MIN!!! :-)0
