I am a shoe-holic... I have 200+ pairs of shoes... I LOVE heels... the higher the better...
my feet have ALWAYS been odd( never wore same size from left to right) ...after baby #1 I went from 8.5 to 9...after baby #3 I needed 9M on left foot....9.5 on right
after baby #4 ( and this is also where I gained 100+ pounds) I needed a 9.5 on left foot but 10 and often a 10W on right foot....
it hit 88 degrees here yesterday in the DC area.. and I was none too happy to pull out some cute heels from last Spring/Summer.... I spent the entire day with my shoes flopping off my feet....I went home & tried on others.... everything Ive tried on so far is TOO BIG.... too WIDE mostly....all size 10s are too long as well.... the size 9.5's fit a lil big but not too bad that I will have to get rid of them but enough for me to know not to buy many of them anymore....
looks like I will be needing a size 9 again...my wallet is not pleased.
For what its worth, I haven't lost a LOT of weight, but I'm guessing I'm not retaining fluid as Ive cut out sugar and most salt out of my diet...I'm drinking water ( always did) and am exercising more..... wearing compression hose a LOT to help with swelling....

Well, I think this NSV calls for treating yourself to a new pair of cute heels0

Agree! But make them inexpensive ones until you are close to your goal in case your feet change more. No Jimmy Choo's for you right now!0 -

I've noticed this as well....luckily for me I don't have too many shoes but when I slipped on a pair from last summer they are flopping around...who would have thought feet would shrink!0

it is a good thing!! Maybe you can bring your older shoes to a good will or something? Or any of your friends want to buy them from you?0

I'm a 9 1/2 if you're looking to get rid of any of those sky high heels.

get some gel insoles, try them in all the shoes, those that are ok with the insoles, keep, those that are liable to fall off, cause trips etc donate to friends/relatives/charity
Then treat yourself to a new pair each mini goal0 -

I'm in your area and would love to buy some of your shoes if you are selling them ((Size 10))) here!!! :drinker:I am a shoe-holic... I have 200+ pairs of shoes... I LOVE heels... the higher the better...

The 1st NSV of many!! Next it will be your pants falling down! Keep pushing on and treat yourself to 1 pair of new summer heels atleast0

My feet shrunk quite a bit when I lost all of my weight. I used to get size 14-15 shoes because I needed really wide, after I lost my weight i discovered I could fit comfortably into 11.5W.0

It's even harder when your feet are not the same size to start with lol. My left foot is about 1/2 size smaller than my right. It is NOT noticeable looking at them but I always either have to get shoes that will fit my left foot but cramp and blister my right, or fit my right foot but slip off my left. Not fun.0

Oh, man! I'm glad I don't have this problem! I've got my dad's chicken legs and I haven't gained any of my 150+ lbs below my knees, so my shoe size hasn't budged since middle school.
This is still great for you tho! You're getting healthy! But I agree, my wallet would NOT be pleased, because I also LOVE shoes0 -

Make sure you hit the clearance rack though. You do not want to spend a lot of money on new shoes that will only fit for a moment.
Congrats on the weight loss though!0 -

LOL!!!!
I am a 9.5-10 depending on the brand. Sometimes a wide width too. You can send them to Texas if you like :bigsmile:0
