Would love to add some more friends in order to gain more accountability! I'm horrible for talking myself out of eating healthy, need to change the inner dialogue!!!! 4 kids and 10 years ago I was around 140ish (5'8.5") and would love to get back to that! Right now I'm somewhere around 165ish. My biggest challenge is staying motivated, seems like I can only stick to a healthy eating plan for a couple days before I sabotage myself with the stinkin' thinkin! Any tips/support/friends are welcome!

  • I have just one kid and I gained A LOT. But I'm also the put up or shut up type, and I don't sugar coat. You can add me if you need that type of kick in *the butt. I'll be happy to oblige. :D

I've got two kids; 8 and 7. After the second one I was a few pounds shy of 200!
Glad to have you here and good luck on your journey!

Honey, you just described me and I only have 2 kids. I started here on 8/22 at 47 years old, 157.7 and am now a very happy 135.2-137 depending on how much sodium I had the day before! I'm 5'9" so really close to you. You can do this! Good luck. Take your measurements, log EVERY thing you put in your mouth and get some type of exercise in each day so you can eat more. Don't starve yourself and don't deprive yourself-that just sets you up for a binge. Make this a lifestyle change that you are making for your health and modeling for your children and it will become second nature.
