Is there an easier way to log your calories burned from this?

The easy way is with a HRM.

Heart Rate Monitor would probably be your most accurate way. I use the RunKeeper app when running and it is consistently around 100 calories lower than what my HRM reads - Polar F7.

If you do not want to spend money on a good HRM with caloric burn calculator and have a smart phone then download the free RunKeeper app. It will get you closer to actual calories burned - IMO - than MFP.

Thanks for the advice! I'm starting it tomorrow with the iPhone app.

Here is what I use.. either I go by whatever my HRM says which I got a Polar RS300x and love it.. and then I'll also verify using this calculator

When in doubt I will use the lower number just to be on the safe side.. but I think its a pretty accurate way to actually track the whole thing... sure would be nice if MFP had the C25K weeks in here though..
