Sort of NSV....And I just bought 2 new pairs last week?!

I bought new jeans last week the next size down (9 to a 7). They fit like a glove. Not too tight, but not at all loose.

I ran a race on Sunday, went to cardio pump on Monday, ran 4.5 miles today.... ate healthy....I washed AND DRYED these new jeans....

and they were still a little baggy and the waist band was 2 inches loose...

Probably the worst and bet part of losing weight...buying new clothes and then they don't fit after a week or two. I hate spending money on clothes....but it IS sort of really worth it. :)

totally agree....i had some pants that didn't fit (luckily i didn't buy them)...finally got into them a few weeks ago and now they are too loose.....i have been buying clothes from a good will store that we have (a really nice store) that way i don't spend a ton of money on clothes that i am just going to out grow

Ive been wearing my size 12's because I really didn't want to buy new ones until I was close to my goal. Well I have surpassed it so went and bought 3 new pairs of work pants and had to get size 6's!!!! No wonder my work pants looked like crap. LOL WTG!

Goodwill has been great here, really can't beat a $3 pair of pants that you'll probably only wear for a month or two.

I made that same mistake. You can do two things to keep from spending so much before you hit your target weight loss. If you have a sewing machine, or know someone who does, you can put some darts (pinch the fabric in the back and sew a line to make a seam) so that they fit better...or shop thrift stores, consignment shops, and family dollar/dollar generals for cheap jeans.

Then you can put aside all the money you saved and go on a awesome shopping spree when you find your happy weight!

Hope that helps. Congrats on the loss too!
