My name is Jason and today I decided I was going to try and turn my health around. I used to be in great shape back when I was in my late teens, but nearly 20 years of fast food and pizza combined with a lack of exercise have taken its toll on me.

Currently weighing in at 290 lbs and would love to get back down under 200 again.

The hardest part for me is I know that I'm going to have to give up pretty much everything I enjoy eating in order to achieve that goal. Pizza being my most difficult vice.

Anyway, looking forward to making my way down the path to being healthy again.

Jason

I know it seems like a daunting task, but I found logging the food was so much easier that I thought. You will be amazed at what you can eat. I still eat pizza now and then; just not once or twice a week like I used to. Try thin crust it makes a big difference in the calories. Sometimes just knowing what I want to eat means exercising to be able to eat it. The most important thing I can say I found is read the food labels. Calories are important; but watch the sodium it seems to make an even bigger difference. I've been on since mid January; and I have lost 22 lbs already. Friend me if you want.

I have found that if you make your own pizza and control how much cheese and fatty foods do or don't get put on the pizza, it is much healthier! But it still isn't the healthiest choice of all :)
  • Welcome !! I love pizza!! My favorite. Now what I do is make pita pizzas, it may not sound very enticing at first, but once you figure out what you like and don't like, you can make one hell of a yummy healthy pizza!
