Hi everyone....I work in a deli and im constantly on my feet, walking back and forth, slicing meat till there's no tomorrow, lifting, bending, and cleaning. I know i must be burning calories off but not sure how to track it on here as there is no "excersise" that matches this???? just wanted to get everyone else's opinion? if i work a 4 hour shift, how many calories do you think i would burn? oh! and by the way ive been excellent at not "snacking" on any of the foods we sell there! lol!

well that wouldnt really count as "extra" calories burnt that you would logg. logging excercise is mainly for above and beyond your normal daily routines.. like going to the gym..jogging etc.. When u filled out your stats when u joined, you were asked how your normal daily activiety is .. you sound like lightly active at least so if you put it at that, thats taking into consideration your normal daily calories burnt. dont log it as excercise though!

What did you put as your activity level when you signed up?

Agreed.... the daily activity level you selected is already going to be included in the calories you burn every day already. You should only log above and beyond your normal daily activities. Good luck!
  • thanks everyone! i didnt realize that lol! guess im itching to account for every calorie i can scatch off! :)
