I'm Meri, I'm 25 and i live in Glasgow.

I have been using myfitnesspal on and off for while now to track my calorie consumption and after a 2 month break from the diet i've decided to refocus my efforts and throw myself right into the deep end!

For me this means tracking every calorie, every bit of exercise and following every tip i find on these forums.

I've always struggled to motivate myself but i'm hoping that my holiday to New York in 2 weeks with encourage me to shed some weight. After that I'm sure i'll find something else to keep me focused but i'll worry about that nearer the time.

For the next 2 weeks my goal is to lose 6lbs, bringing me down to 12st 7lbs. After that i'll come up with a long term plan that will get me down to 10st 7lbs. I'd be happy to get there by christmas but even happier to get there sooner!
