Im 5'2 and 129 lbs, i think i fit into a 7 or 5 in dresses, depending on the brand.
Same with pants.
at my heaviest i was 155-160 and wore a 9, but i SHOULD HAVE been an 11. I was stubborn. LOL0 -
I am 5'3.5 and 163 lbs. I am currently in a size 10. In high school I was 135 and a size 8.0

This is interesting!!! I am 250 right now... and am wearing a size 16 dress on Saturday to an event. (Granted, it's a stretchy size 16, but I bought it in the regular dress section at JCPenney!) If it were a non-stretchy dress, I would be in an 18/20.0

im 5ft 6 and 120lb and a UK size 10, which i think is a US 6?
I always notice that people of my weight usually take a smaller size than me for some reason. I dont think i carry weight well.0 -

I was!!!
Congratulations on your hard work you'll get there!!!
All my best wishes for your journey

I started at 263 (or heavier, who knows!) and was a size 20/22 pant - XXL shirt/24 shirt and I am now a size 10 pant and medium shirt at 160 lbs and I am 5'5.0

At my heaviest I was 260 lbs and wore a 22/24 (22s were VERY, PAINFULLY tight) now I weigh 210 and am a 20/22. 50 lbs and only one size down. It's so discouraging! I see others weigh in at 220 or 230 and wear a 16/18. UGH :grumble:0

It took me FOREVER to get through sizes as well! My first 30, 50 and 60 lbs didn't change my clothes size much...it will happen! don't get too discouraged, CONGRATS to on your success thus far!0 -
When I started I was 287 pounds wearing a 20/22 pants and a 2X shirt..... I am 5' 7"
Now I am 241 and I wear a Large shirt and 16 pants....
I recently wore a size 14 black dress.....and everyone loved it on me!!! It was a proud moment for me!!
I no longer wear wide width shoes either!!!0 -
i am 5'5 160lbs size 10 dress.0

I'm 5'2"--170 and I wear a size 12 dress and size 10/12 in pants.0

I'm 137 and a UK size 10/12 - I think this makes me a US 8, but when I was in the States last year I bought a mixture of 6 and 8, so I think it depends on the shop0

I am 5'4" 187 and I wear either a 12 or 14 depending on the brand. Most of my 14s are starting to get really baggy on me though!
I am with you on this! It all depends on the designer/manufacturer. A lot of my 14's are really baggy and I am finding some large shirts are even getting baggy. I am going to love getting into a 12 soon!0 -
I'm 5'4", currently weigh 150 lbs and wear a size 8 or 10 in jeans. I think I'm probably the same size in dresses, but haven't tried one on in awhile.0

I'm 5'3.5" and 168 lbs. I'm currently in a 10, but depending on the cut of the dress (wrap a-line dresses in particular), I can get away with smaller. Old Navy's vanity sizing has me in a 6 skirt (even though I can't even get their size 10 capris over my thighs!).0

I'm 5'1", 151 pounds and I wear a size 10-12 pants (12's are loose and 10's are snug) and medium top (large jrs).
at my heaviest of 172-175 my 12's were getting too tight and I refused to buy a 14 so it motivated me to start losing weight!0 -
230-210 = Size 24 or 22 depending on the garment
209-197 = Size 20
197-190 = Size 18
190-180 = Size 14 (I skipped 16 entirely oddly enough)
180-175 = Size 12 can fit into some 10's.0
