So My cousin bought on and i am thinking about getting one. What are your thoughts on them? i want one that tells me how long i am in the Zone For. But now when i run i have a higher heart rate than the fat buring zone. What really do all the different zones mean??? How do you use them? Have they been helpful in your weight loss?? Anyone with any Comments Please let me know, I am really curious how they work, How accurate they are do they really work. AND HOW GOOD are the heart rate monitors with NO STRAP! Any suggestions of a specific brand??? Cheaper? More expensive? I really appreciate anyones Comments and thoughts! thanks so much.

I would suggest getting one with a chest strap as they are better to calculate an accurate HR.

Don't know if this will help you any but...........Here is a link that was posted in another thread with a lot of information on HRM's.

I'm glad you asked this because I had some of the same questions. I bought one and used it for the first time yesterday. During c25k, I was about 8-9 points above my target zone while I was running. I was wondering if that was a bad thing.
