HRM Question

I'm not quite sure but it looks like my HRM is overestimating my calories burned.

Yesterday's workout stats:
Elliptical Machine 63 mins
Distance: 9.9 mi
Heart rate range:162-175 (75% to 84% of my max)
I'm 23 yrs old, 176 lbs.

The elliptical machine said I burned 570 cals. The machine had me enter my age and weight. I used the heart rate sensor on the machine as I worked out and it was always very close to what my watch HRM said.

The heart rate monitor (Sportline-Solo 900 Heart Rate Monitor) said I burned 1112 calories. The actual heart rate range was the same as what the elliptical machine said.

I used an online calculator to estimate the calories burned and it said about 981 cals.

Does anyone have an idea of what I actually burned? On the days I eat my exercise cals back I would like to be as accurate as possible. (I've noticed it's best for my body if I have some low net cal days and some high net cal days so sometimes I eat back my exercise cals and sometimes I don't.)

Thanks in advance veterans for your response! :flowerforyou:

Your heart rate stay in your 85% zone so you burned way more than what the elliptical is saying. 570 calories for 60 minutes is a low impact burn.
