While at the Breast screening clinic this afternoon,:frown: I read a poster on Osteoporosis, and thought i'd share with my fellow MFP'ers, thank fully i'm only in one of the at risk groups (women over 50) but i learned another group that supprised me, and that was thin people!!, I'd assumed that overweight people would be more at risk (we usually are for everything else) There was also mention of those who's diets were low on dairy, calcium...and of course smokers as ever... But all our weight bearing exercises i.e. 'walking' will build up bone density . So it's clearly worth the effort

Walking is my favorite exercise. I think I might start walking to school, it's an hour both ways, but I only have class twice a week.
