So who takes vitamins and what do you recommend to someone just starting out?
I have started with Vitamin C and Fish Oil as recommended a few years ago by a personal fitness trainer at 24hourfitness.
I have also been told B3 is a good one to take. I also periodically take multivitamins but I am always confused on which one is the best for me. I am 22 and 206lbs. I dont feel tired all the time or sluddgy so do I need B3?

I take One-A-Day Women's multivitamin, as my doctor recommended a multivitamin for women. I like it because it helps to supplement my diet to fulfill my vitamin needs.

I would go for a B-Complex instead. Get one that is "balanced" with ALL the B's being of 100%. It should say so on the label. B-3 is niacin, I believe, so it will be in there. If you're tired a lot, get your doc to run some blood tests for your vitamin levels, you may be anemic. I take a boatload of vitamins, so don't compare yourself with me (unless of course you've had weight loss surgery). This is what I take daily:

Multiple with minerals added- 2x daily
    Ferrous gluconate (iron)- 1 daily
    Omega 3- 1 daily
    Mineral supplement-1 daily
2000 iu of dry vitamin D- 1 daily
    1500 mg of calicium
    2000 mg vitamin C
    Flax Seed Oil
    B-Complex 100-1 daily

    Hope this helps!!!

I take a Super B Complex daily, and a Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc supplement a few times a week. Most of my other vitamins I get from food. Be careful with the Fish Oil, I started losing a lot of hair when I was on it!
