If I use the "Harris Benedict Equasion" http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/harris-benedict-equation/ my daily calorie needs are 2441 so eating 1300 calories a day should leave me with a 1141 calorie deficit.

1141 x 7 (days a week) = 7,988

7,988 divided by 3500 (calories in a pound) equals 2.2825

Which is pretty much what I'm losing in a week on average. I just thought this was kind of cool, interesting tool if you want to see if your deficit is big enough. I'm going to have to kick up my workouts even more in another couple of months.

    I got 2359 calories/day (minus my net of 1350), which is 1010 calorie deficit/day.
    So that's 7070 calories a week... or 2.02lbs.

I'm losing less than this.. actually this week I gained a little. So I guess there's other variables involved, but this is pretty neat.. thanks :)

Ya, I'm imagining it doesn't work perfectly for everyone. I was really surprised when it worked for me. lol I'm just curious to see if it works for anyone else.

I have a calorie deficit of 872 calories per day.

    872 x 7 (days a week) = 6104

6104 divided by 3500 (calories in a pound) equals 1.74

I've lost 49 lbs in five months, so that's pretty much on target. Cool - thanks!

I bet you have a far better week this week then you did last week, you're really pushing yourself now. 2 months and you'll need new clothes!
