So what do you Wear when you are working out? Me lately I have only been wearing my jean as I am only walking around but found it hot and uncomfortable so I bought a pair of pants from walmart Not my best fit they are too long and bit tight but it was the only pair that fit that looked ok. I am a big girl and find it hard to find work out clothing. Anyone else in my shoes? So what do you wear and where do you buy them? Can't buy them on line un less they ship to Canada

I wear basketball shorts and either a t-shirt or a tank top, it's much more comfortable to work out in. :)
  • I honestly just use pj pants n a shirt/tank top....I'm sure when I lose a lot more weight I might go with something cuter :)
  • Adidas workout pants and a tank top usually.
  • I wear leggings there so comfortable light and easy too move in Love them!

When i am at home on the treadmill I am in Pjs but looking to go to the gym and was thinking jamies where not a good thing to wear there.
  • I just wear a pair of black cotton pants and a tank top, either mine or stolen from my honey. Whatever works. Just go with something comfortable and what you feel good in.

I don't know what stores they have in Canada, but I like to get my stuff from Fashion Bug, Lane Bryant, or TJ Maxx. I wear work out pants (or just stretchy cotton shorts or capris if it's hot), a sports bra, and t-shirts.

I bought Yoga pants and a tank top at Walmart, that's what I wear to yoga. I wear my swimsuit for water aerobics. Try WomanWithin.com. I don't know if they ship to Canada but it's worth looking in to! Good luck!! :)

I would be one hot pissy mess if I tried to work out in jeans.

I usually wear stretchy elastic waist bottoms (yoga pants, track pants, pj pants, gym shorts, etc.) with a t-shirt. Nothing fancy, just breathable and easy to move in!

Some of my favorites are the LL Bean perfect fit pants. I wear them on Saturdays when I'm running errands / cleaning, but whenever they git a bit funky, like with bleach spots, I degrade them to workout wear. I'm pretty sure they ship to Canada... the only problem is that they used to be $29, but now they're like $45. Very lame.

i buy clothes that are good at wicking sweat away. i love lululemon pants - so breathable and lightweight, and they have stores in canada! target and jcpenney also have good selections. and for my zumba classes, i've bought a few cute cargo pants :)

and to edit my post, i forgot that canada has awesome sports fitness stores like MEC and roots! MEC has a lot of great sweat-wicking clothes

A cheap cotton tank top, sports bra, and gym shorts. I have a couple nice items I've picked up off clearance racks, but I don't want to invest in anything nice until I've lost some more weight. I do need to pick up some nice thick socks for walking though.

Wear what's the most comfortable for you.

I usually wear Pajama bottoms & a tank top with sports bra or I found a great pair of yoga pants at the thrift store.. I also got a pair of danskin pants from walmart for like $12 that I wear with a tank top and sports bra, once I have some money I will be getting a couple pairs of just my size shorts since the pants are getting way to hot and all the "athletic" shorts always feel like daisy dukes to me.

I have been wearing lounge pants that I bought years ago,
the only thing I have splurged on is good workout/running shoes & sports bras.
Part of my goal system is as I continue to work out ( this last week and a half has killed me since my hubby is out of town and I turned into a slug) I buy myself better workout clothing.
I have two pairs of Nike pants at work that I am buying on Friday.
That should give me enough workout clothing to get through the week without having to do more laundry.

i am wearing el cheapo trackies 3/4 length so they aren't too hot and i bought 2 el cheapo maternity sleeveless t-shirts when i first started working out, they are long and really loose on me, but it's better than having my rolls hanging out everywhere.

i hate that everything is sooooo fitted, either that or it looks like you are wearing a moo moo. so my maternity tops are it for now. when i wear normal t-shirts, and try and do yoga for example, when i stretch out or certain positions, my flab would be visible, and i just don't want to subject anyone to that....

so maybe when i lose a bit more weight, i'll get a couple of long tank tops to put under my tshirts to avoid flab coming out.

At home, just a t-shirt and cotton shorts or sweats. When I go running, cotton shorts, and one of those light, wicking running shirts. Nothing terribly fancy.

    Oh it's gross.
I have these paper-thin shirts from the Gap that will never see the outside of the house again. But they are perfect for working out! And I wear comfy yoga pants and one of my bras that are about ready to fall apart.

i usually wear a loose cotton t-shirt with a sports bra & sometimes a stretchy sleeveless tank top underneath. i wear mostly spandex tights or stretchies or capri style pants (nothing too tight) that i buy at either walmart or zellers but i think most places sell something along the the same line in their sports dept its just walmart & zellers seem to be cheaper. i find sweat pants can be too hot. you need to be comfortable when youre working out. i just bought some t-shrits from superstore the other day. they were only $6.00 which i think its a decent price & they had some really pretty spring colours.
