Really small success - but I'm so happy!

Hi All

This is my 4th week now. I lost 1 kg (2 lbs) in my first week in which I started eating a lot healthier and started exercising 5 times a week. After that first week I ended up putting the weight back on ( naughty but I haven't declared that in the check-in section) . My body must have gone into shock!!!

I have then started using the measuring tape and have lost 3 cm (1 inch) from my tummy. This gave me the encouragement to carry on.

I weighed myself again this morning and it showed 57.9 kg so I've lost that same kg again. Woohoo. I'm so happy today.

I know its such a small success compared to a lot of MFP's but I just wanted to share this small win for me. There are some of us that aren't seeing the same results as others are but we can still do it!

Good luck everyone!

  • Don't count this as a small success! You are losing weight, and in a healthy way too. This is a huge success. You are still moving forward and reaching for your goal. Take everything as a success, even gaining weight sometimes. As long as you are healthy, eating right, and working out here and there... You are doing great (: OWN IT

Great work! And remember that the measuring tape is much more important than the scales. You may find there are times that the scales stand still but you've lost half an inch or more from the waist.

You know what? It's the small successes that keep us going. Eventually we'll get the large ones, but you are doing GREAT!!!! Keep up all your good work.
